About Our Economic Empowerment Program

PIRWA’s Economic Empowerment approach seeks to enable individuals and communities to build sustainable incomes, strengthen economic resilience and participate meaningfully in inclusive economic growth. We recognize that lasting poverty reduction requires more than short-term support, but rather, it requires people to have the skills, resources, opportunities and networks needed to improve their livelihoods and build productive assets. The key objective is to use various dimensions to create enabler to achieve independence, giving people the right skill. Our interventions focus on skills and vocational development, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, employment and self-employment, access to markets, and enterprise development, with particular attention to vulnerable and underserved communities, including youths, and women. We support individuals to translate knowledge and skills into viable economic opportunities while strengthening their capacity to manage resources, respond to economic shocks and grow sustainable enterprises.

PIRWA promotes inclusive economic participation, recognizing the importance of equitable opportunities for women, youth and other underserved groups. By connecting skills development with entrepreneurship, finance, markets and sustainable livelihoods, we aim to contribute to increased household incomes, reduced poverty, greater self-reliance and resilient communities.

Strategic focus is to promote the holistic development through building capacity of young individuals, women, while fostering their understanding and respect for human rights using community center approach as a channel for reaching community and also foster community awareness. Our ultimate goal is to create pathways through which individuals and communities can move from economic vulnerability towards sustainable, dignified and inclusive prosperity.
